Tasting Notes:
The 2017 Riesling Icewine represents a classic take on this noble variety. On the nose there are pronounced aromas of candied lemon, poached pear, honeysuckle, grilled pineapple and mandarin orange. This citrus feel replays throughout the wine and adds a wonderful sense of freshness to the tasting experience. The palate has similarities to the nose but reveals additional flavours of fuji apple, preserved peach, mango and honey. Although this wine is lusciously sweet, it is extremely well balanced by the natural acidity of the Riesling grape and shows finesse as the flavours slowly fade over a lengthy finish.
